Enrolment

Terms and conditions

What applies when a school or a teacher enrols on a Didactica course. Please read it before you send your enrolment.

Three guarantees

  1. 1Who organises the courses

Didactica courses are organised and taught in Italy by Unicollege. Your contract is with Unicollege, which issues the enrolment confirmation, the invoice and the certificate.

  2. 2How enrolment works

Sending the online form is free and does not commit you to pay. Your place is booked only when you receive our enrolment confirmation by email, with the course, the dates, the fee and the bank details. Please do not book travel or accommodation before you have it. A project coordinator who enrols colleagues does so on their behalf and with their agreement.

  3. 3Price and payment

The fee is €480 per participant for one six-day course, Monday to Saturday, 30 hours. There is no deposit and no enrolment fee. The full amount is paid by bank transfer within 15 days of the enrolment confirmation; if you enrol less than 15 days before the start, it is paid before the first day. If payment does not arrive and we have not heard from you, we may cancel the enrolment.

  4. 4Invoices and VAT

We issue the invoice to the school or to the participant, as you tell us when you enrol. For a school invoice we need the name and address of the school, its tax or VAT number, its OID and, if you have one, the Erasmus+ project number. The course is a training service supplied in Italy: when the conditions of Article 10 of Italian Presidential Decree 633/1972 for education and training are met, the invoice is issued without VAT and cites that article; otherwise Italian VAT is added and shown separately on the invoice.

  5. 5What the fee includes

The fee covers 30 hours of training from Monday to Saturday, the Saturday cultural activity and the certificate of attendance. Travel, accommodation, meals and insurance are not included unless your confirmation says otherwise. We send the detailed timetable before the course. With the course + campus room package, the fee also covers 7 nights in a single room in the student residence and, in Florence, one meal a day at the Unicollege cafeteria: €790 in Florence and €690 in Mantua in July, August and the first week of September; €830 and €710 the rest of the year, if rooms are free (confirmed at enrolment).

  6. 6Certificate of attendance

The certificate, with the programme and the hours, is given to participants who attend at least 80% of the course, once the fee has been paid in full.

  7. 7If you cancel

Tell us by email at [email protected]. Before cancelling, you can move to another date or city within 12 months, or send a colleague in your place at no cost. If you cancel 4 weeks or more before the start, we keep 30% of the fee and refund the rest. If you cancel less than 4 weeks before the start, the full fee is due. There is one exception: if your school's Erasmus+ project is not funded, cancelling costs nothing. Send us the National Agency's decision and we refund everything you have paid; if you have not paid yet, nothing is due. If your visa is refused and you send us the written refusal at least 4 weeks before the start, we refund the fee minus €150 of administrative costs. Absences, late arrivals and early departures are not refunded.

  8. 8Changing course, date or city

You can ask to move to another course, date or city, and we agree when there are places. Changes asked for 30 days or more before the start are free; later changes cost €100 per participant, except a different date in the same city.

  9. 9Sending a colleague instead

You can replace a participant with a colleague at any time before the course, at no cost: send us the new name by email.

  10. 10If we cancel or change a course

A course runs with at least 6 participants. If a date does not reach this number, we tell you at least 4 weeks before the start and offer another date or city; if none suits you, we refund everything you have paid for the course. Travel and accommodation costs are not refunded. If a trainer is ill, another trainer takes the class or the lesson moves to another time in the same week.

  11. 11During the course

Only enrolled participants attend the lessons. Participants are responsible for any damage they cause to the premises; we are not responsible for personal belongings. A participant who behaves inappropriately may be asked to leave the course.

  12. 12Personal data, complaints and law

We use your data to handle the enrolment, as explained in the privacy policy. Complaints and requests go to [email protected]. These conditions are governed by Italian law.
